Queens Symphony Gala November 14, 2023.
On the occasion of its 70th anniversary, The Queens Symphony Orchestra chose Belle Arti Center for the Arts, a music school in Forest Hills-Queens, as the recipient of the Award in the Arts.
For us, it was a great honor to participate in this event. Along with Claudette Munné and Massimiliano Facchini, founders, and artistic directors, there was one alumni and three young and talented students who performed and represented who we are and what we have been doing for the past 16 years.
This award is not only for Massimiliano and Claudette but also for the wonderful faculty who helped make the magic of music happen at Belle Arti Center for the Arts.
We celebrated music, the universal language, the language that transcends every culture. Music is a form of energy that makes us feel joyful, happy, sad, excited, that gives us goosebumps.
What happened at the Gala is simply the result of what we love doing which is passing along the best gift music can bring to a child, adolescent, and adult: “The discipline of the Mind, body, and Soul”
